Target-Missoni Collaboration
Target never ceases to amaze! Continuing efforts to bring designer pieces to we laypeople, Target is set to introduce its line of Italian brand Missoni to stores in September and the price is right.
Since many of us were not around in the 50's and 60's, you may or may not remember seeing prints similar to the ones in these photos but they can be considered some of the iconic designs of the two decades. As we know, fashion always comes full circle and we now, thanks to Target and Missoni designers, get to reap the benefits at deeply discounted prices!
According to recent press releases, the collaboration will allow some 400 pieces to hit several departments within Target stores beginning September 13. Of course my main excitement stems from the clothing lines (men, women and children) and shoes at which I have had the pleasure of taking a peek, but the designs will also surface in housewares. Pieces such as sweaters (for around $50.00), sweater dresses ($55.00 give or take) and shoes (a steal at $30.00) are featured in September's issue of Glamour just to tease a bit.
For me, the countdown has already begun...35 more days until I finally get to place one of these beauties on my back (and my feet)! Until then...
